Dr. Amit Vijapura has been a trusted figure in psychiatry since 1991, practicing as a board-certified psychiatrist after completing his residency at Mount Sinai Health Systems. With additional expertise in Addiction Medicine, he has been a pioneer in the development and testing of innovative buprenorphine delivery systems for the treatment of opioid addiction.

As President of the Jacksonville Psychiatric Society since 2012, Dr. Vijapura remains deeply connected to the local community, fostering collaboration and advancing psychiatric care in the region.
